Favorite: 11* Fictional Male Television Characters

*Some male characters stand out more with their counterparts. Seeing as how I couldn't decide which character I prefer over the other, and because I wanted to include only one choice from each show, in some cases I have included the duo in the stead of a single character.

11. James "Sawyer" Ford Lost

10. Chandler Bing / Joey Tribbiani Friends

9. Doug Heffernan King of Queens

8. Abed Nadir / Troy Barnes Community

7. Creed Bratton The Office

6. Seth Cohen The O.C.

5. Charlie Kelly It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

4. Jack Bauer 24

3. George Oscar "G.O.B." Bluth II Arrested Development

2. Dexter Morgan Dexter

1. Bret McKenzie / Jemaine Clement Flight of the Conchords

Most Favorite: 3 6th Grade Memories

3. Earning the part of Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew
Although the part was split into the two halves, I was given the first half of the play to be the main actor. It was a challenge but I thought it was fun, being the first time I was involved in a play requiring actual acting.

2. 6th Grade Valentine's Dance
Going through puberty and being faced with your first formal experience with girls should have been more nerve-wracking than it was. I even got to slow dance--my first slow dance--with the newest and cutest addition to our 6th grade student body, Krystal Chick. She moved away a year or two later, never to be seen by me again.

1. Winning my first and only fightI am usually quite a pacifist, but when John was being a wiener I had to defend my best friend. After he pushed my friend to the ground, I subsequently retaliated by pushing him back. He casually strolled passed me and when he was out of sight, blindside punched me. I darted at John, threw him to the ground, and (being a fan at the time of World Championship Wrestling) performed the "Steiner Recliner" (pictured). We stopped scuffling, he walked away with a bloody nose, and ever since I've had a 1-0 fight record.

Favorite: 5 Careers My Mother Wishes I Pursued

5. Surgeon
This was when I was in late elementary/early middle school. She thought it would be smart in case she needed anything done.

4. Writer
I think it's because she saw a psychic when I was a wee lad. The two things the psychic told her about what I would become are 1} I will have a temper, and 2} I would become a writer in television.

3. Radiology Technician
Good money and she had an "in" from one of her customers.

2. Actor/Model
Because of my obvious charm, my wit, and my kick-ass portrayal of Petruchio in the 6th grade.

1. Pharmacist
Because why wouldn't a pill pusher find their job adventurous and fulfilling?

Reasons Why: In Middle School My Friends Thought I Might Be Gay

5. I have an sensitive side. They are robots.

4. I listen to Coldplay.

*3. Not only did I enjoy making art. I excelled at it.

2. Even though they themselves hadn't kissed a girl (a few of whom did not until well after I did) neither had I; I wasn't interested in dating at the time.

1. They enjoyed spending their days at school conversing about what color thongs they saw hanging out of the 14 year olds' pants during geometry class. I did not.

*NOTE: Had I told everyone that my first live music concert was Ricky Martin, this would be the #3 reason on my list. However, either I didn't tell them or they didn't put that together.

Favorite/Least Favorite: Hooters

Seeing as how I've only been to 2 Hooters restaurants (not including Las Vegas, where I only gambled) It's not a big list. But I assure you, it will get bigger.

All-time Last Place Hooters

Hooters Spokane (June '08)
Perhaps it was just a slow night and a bad shift at the Hooters in Spokane, WA, but the scenery was lacking and customer service not worth mentioning. I did, however, enjoy the cheesesticks.

All-time First Place Hooters

Hooters Tempe (November '09)

What Spokane was lacking Tempe, AZ, made up for. "Jeneva" had the personality and excitement for her job that makes for your idealized experience at Hooters you think of when you think of Hooters (unless you have gone to the Hooters in Spokane, of course).

So here you see that Jeneva is doing a trick. It caught me off guard the first time she did it, so I finished my beer and asked her to do it again. Only this time on camera. It's an upside down stool on a hardwood floor and nothing but abdominal muscles and the concentration of a Buddhist monk. I assure you, she was not using her feet to spin herself during this process.

My First Website

Ultimate^2 Guide

To be honest, I'm surprised how well my first website turned out. I had a great number of difficulties (many of which took place early on in the formatting of my site and would have required more time to fix than I had to spend) but overall the site is functional. The image of Ultimate players was not supposed to be the same for each page (in its place would have been the page's respective image to the right of the text) but I wasn't able to define editable areas without mass confusion. The homepage is closest to what each page was supposed to be like.

Favorite: 5 Fall Break Experiences '09

I thought I would get in the spirit of fall break and mention what I liked most about my trip to Seattle.

5. General escape from Salt Lake
I needed a break from my hometown. I had never been to Seattle and found the wet weather, brilliant fall colors, ample flora, and general wonderful atmosphere to be everything I want in a future residential environment.

4. SciFi Museum and Hall of Fame
-The awesomeness of Han Solo, Godzilla, and Flash Gordon all rolled into one!
-Actually rocked out on the drums in my girlfriend and sister's band Clusterfeist. It was a bitchin' cover to The Beatles' bitchin' cover to the Top Notes' song "Twist and Shout."

3. Seattle Art Museum
I got to see Calder's mobiles, Michelangelo's sketches, and the latest Wyeth's soul on canvas. An enormous and gorgeous art museum.

2. Pike Place Market
After our visit the SAM we walked down the street to Pike Place. At the Pike Place Fish Market Liz was tossed the notorious fish with an iron grip. Then we walked a bit further down the market and I enjoyed a grande non-fat white chocolate mocha at the universe's first ever Starbucks.

1. Visit family
My biological sister, Rachel, lives very close to Seattle and I was fortunate enough to stay with her during my trip and meet her adoptive family for the first time ever! They were all very hospitable as we drank and ate the salmon that Liz caught at Pike Place.

Favorite: 5 Sexy Living Actresses

*My girlfriend asked me a short while ago what my top 5 actresses were who I found myself attracted to (not necessarily a physical attraction). These are actresses that are active in their acting and whose performances have recently stuck out in my mind.

5. Kate Winslet
One of the best actresses all time. Though she has had more sex scenes than I can count with my fingers, still comes off as classy.

4. Rachel McAdams
Fun, funny and gorgeous. She has a beautiful voice and a smile that makes my heart melt.

3. Cate Blanchett
So elegant and pristine. It helps that I love The Lord of the Rings films, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

2. Charlize Theron
Based on looks alone, hands down the sexiest actress out there. She's had some memorable rolls, but none of them compare to her comical acting in the final season of Arrested Development.

1. Keira Knightley
My idea of the total package. She's a beautiful, talented actress who plays parts that seem to have been made for her acting skills. My recommendation for you is to watch Pride and Prejudice and Atonement and not fall in love with her. If romance isn't your thing, get your ass kicked as she portrays Elizabeth Swan in Pirates of the Caribbean or (though not one of my favorite performance) as Domino in Domino.

Favorite: 5 Rock Bands

5. Franz Ferdinand
Quirky as they are and ever-developing in their music, this band is never a boring listen-to. They can raise your spirits with their energy and vocal-musical chemistry.

4. Queens of the Stone Age
A dark, sexual band that is oddly never "too much" or repulsive. If you see them coming in a live concert, leave your inhibitions at the door and caress the beast inside.

3. Led Zeppelin
With the most unique voice in rock and the best guitar, it's hard not to have Zep on my list. As interesting as ever and still so damn influential. I can listen to them on any day and their music will fit.

2. Muse
My cosmic outlet. Muse makes you want there to be extraterrestrials, apocalypse, and most importantly, more Muse. They are a killer band that I found smart in this time of unintelligent radio/video.

1. The Beatles
I have so many memories with The Beatles. From the first time i heard a songs of theirs knowing they were the Beatles, I finally realized how much I loved John, Paul, George, and Ringo. Fun, emotional, and kick-ass all at once.

Least Favorite: 10 Pet Peeves

10. Popped collar

9. Double-popped collar
8. When people think that mustard is universally acceptable when you forget to specifically mention what you meant by saying "I want a cheeseburger"

7. People nonchalantly picking each others' zits as though they were vegetables in a community garden

6. Mispellings

5. Keming

4. Saying the word "like" when not:
-indicating one's preference on a subject
-using it to form a simile

3. People lacking fundamental manners. "Please" and "Thank you" are not that difficult people

2. When people watch a video online with the cursor in the way

1. Waiting in lines

Favorite: 7 Nicole Kidman Movies

Disclaimer! It turns out I have only seen 7 Nicole Kidman films.

7. Australia
Only because of her reaction to a majestic, amiable kangaroo being shot by an aborigine.

6. Bewitched
She's cute and lovable. The perfect Samantha, I'd say.

5. Happy Feet
Who doesn't love a chorus and/or chorus line of penguins? Right, she.beatnik13?

4. Batman Forever
Poison Ivy? More like... Poison "Aye-aye-aye-vy." It's late and I'm delusional.

3. The Others
A fantastic thriller. Eerie and an actual twist I didn't see coming. I will not spoil it!

2. Eyes Wide Shut
Erotic and Stanley Kubrick-y. Who could ask for more?

1. Moulin Rouge!
You don't need to have a vagina to enjoy it (though I love watching a suspiciously high number of musicals).

*Honorable Mention:

8. Jerry Maguire
Having only tonight discovered that, against what I believed since first having seen it in the mid-90s, Kelly Preston plays the sexy redhead in this film and not Nicole Kidman. I felt it necessary to give this role and my former lack of knowledge some recognition.

Least Favorite: 5 Typefaces

5. Wingdings
No actual function. Apparently a good source of urban legend, however!

4. Arial
It's everywhere! And it's never told me why I should like it.

3. Comic Sans
My work prints out our sign-in sheet in Comic Sans. Four to five days of the week I have to see my name in Comic Sans...

2. Papyrus
Then again, what would the incense and herbal tea businesses do without it?

1. Cooper Black
I illogically chose Cooper Black for a research/design assignment. I didn't like the assignment much. I suppose I'm projecting.

What should we find out about M. first?

Let me know what you would like to know about me. I don't want to waste my time talking of topics about which no one wants to know. Whether it's likes, dislikes, passions, or my opinion on a matter, I will tell all through lists. My only reservation is that no one asks me about my SSN, bank account number, or other various forms of informational feed to fatten those wily identity thieves.
